STUDY VISITS FOR EXTERNAL EVALUATORS FROM THE NATIONAL AGENCY FOR QUALITY ASSURANCE IN PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION (ANACIP)

PARTICIPATION IN EXTERNAL ASSESSMENT MISSION IN ROMANIA

During the period of 9 to 11 November 2016, the Educational Center Pro Didactica has organized a study visit in Romania for external evaluators from the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Professional Education. This visit is part of the cooperation agreement between EC PRO DIDACTICA and ARACIS and is part of the project “Partnerships for quality and relevance of the ICT vocational education in Moldova“ is implemented by the Educational Center Pro Didactica in partnership with National Association of Private ICT Companies and with the financial support of the Austrian Development Agency.

Thus, the representatives of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Professional Education (ANACIP), dr. Conf. Univ. Liliana Rotaru, Vice-President and dr. Conf. Univ. Maria Hămuraru, member of the Governing Board and dr. Conf. Univ. Loretta Handrabura, leader of the component “Quality Assurance” of the project above-named, attended the visit of institutional evaluation of the “ARTIFEX” University of Bucharest, as observers, together with team of expert evaluators from the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARACIS).

“For the first time I have participated  at such an event, says Ms Maria Hămuraru. I have participated in the program assesments, but not to an institutional assessment. We gained a relevant and useful  experience and I will use it in my work, as the expert evaluator. I would like to thank the organizers and the evaluation team for their support”.

„This experience  is comparable with the first driving after a long theoretical training in a driving school: several years of trainings in quality assurance in higher education has been proven through participation in the act of institutional assessment itself, with the participation of the expert – evaluators of ARACIS as instructors. Of course, the experience gained in the process of founding the ANACIP, also in the documents development of organization and functioning of Moldovan agency, supported my testing effort “through the fire” of skills as evaluator”, says Liliana Rotaru.

This visit, like those at the Banat’s University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Timişoara “King Mihai (Michael) I of Romania” (periodic assessment of study program “Veterinary medicine (in English language)” during the period of 31.X-02.XI.2016) and the National University of Music Bucharest (institutional assessment from the 22 to 24.XI.2016), logically completes the range of previous activities from which benefited the ANACIP with the support of the Austrian Development Cooperation.
