How?\u201d MUNICIPAL SEMINAR IN PARTNERSHIP WITH PRODIDACTICA EDUCATIONAL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On May 21st 2008 the liceum \u201eNicolae Iorga\u201d from Chisinau was the host of the <em>\u201eINTERCULTURAL EDUCATION: What? Why? How?\u201d<\/em> municipal seminar, organized by the Information and Relations with Community Section within the Directorate for Education, Youth and Sport from Chisinau, in partnership with PRO DIDACTICA Educational Centre.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The seminar programme included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiarization with the intercultural education activities of the host-liceum;<\/li>\n<li>Initiation regarding the intercultural education problems:\n<ul>\n<li>Intercultural competence: the stipulations of educational policy from the Republic of Moldova (National Curriculum)<\/li>\n<li>Intercultural competence as the key-competence for the education\u00a0 of the XXI century (UNESCO, Key competences for european education etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Basic concepts for intercultural education achivement: cultural identity, multicultural society, moving from the culture pedagogy to the intercultural pedagogy, interethnic tolerance, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The presentation of PRO DIDACTICA EC experience regarding the target area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Within the workshops, the participants formulated specific recommendations regarding the actions and intercultural education activities within the extracurricular activities, supervision classes\u00a0and teaching of subject matters.<br \/>\nThe PRO DIDACTICA EC donated to participants the Romanian and Russian issues of the \u201eKnowing each other better\u201d handbook (intercultural education for understanding of the differences through literature of cohabitant ethnicities from R.
