Project Goal:
Preparing managerial and teaching staff from both banks of the Nistru River for the digitalization of the educational process in institutions at all levels.
Project Objectives:
- Creating conditions for teachers and managers to enhance their understanding and effective use of digital educational technologies and modern teaching tools for organizing and conducting the educational process.
- Developing competencies to combat the negative factors associated with digital education, reducing the risks of using digital technologies and their impact on the physical and mental health of participants in the educational process.
- Supporting high school students in their professional self-determination and guiding them toward in-demand professions in the labor market. Motivating them to master modern information technologies and improve their digital skills as a foundation for new opportunities.
- Promoting the principles of digital pedagogy and the use of modern technologies in the educational process on both banks of the Nistru River.
Main Project Activities:
- Monitoring professional challenges faced by teaching staff to assess and evaluate their readiness for acquiring new digital competencies and updating their knowledge on applying modern digital technologies in education.
- Establishing the foundation for creating a Resource Center on the left bank of the Nistru to develop digital competencies within the teaching community.
- Conducting a series of activities on using new approaches and formats in the educational process based on modern technological solutions, as well as addressing risks associated with the active digitalization of education.
- Developing questionnaires to assess students’ readiness for career choices, creating recommendations for teachers on methods and approaches to guide high school students in professional self-determination and motivation to study information technologies. Conducting training sessions on working methods in assisting high school students with career orientation in the IT field.
- Promoting innovative educational approaches on both banks of the Nistru River, emphasizing the need for digital pedagogy, IT career guidance tools, and support resources for successfully organizing the educational process in institutions on both sides (round tables, conferences, and the Platform’s website).
Expected project results:
- Approximately 500 managerial and teaching staff from both banks of the Nistru River will participate in educational events organized by the platform.
- Around 2,000 teachers will benefit from the services of the Resource Center and materials posted on the Platform’s website.
- Platform members from both banks of the Nistru will gain insights into modern digital trends in education development.
- Digital competencies will be developed and applied in professional activities, enabling teaching staff to make informed choices regarding the effective use of digital educational technologies and tools.
- A resource base will be created to meet the high demand from the teaching community for digital competency development, providing opportunities for continuous growth.
- Teachers on both banks of the Nistru will develop skills to mitigate the negative factors associated with the active digitalization of education.
- Best practices for career guidance in IT for high school students will be disseminated.
