EXCHANGE OF EXPERIENCE IN INTERCULTURAL EDUCATION

215_cop (1)From November 30 to December 5 this year, 14 civil society representatives from both banks of Nistru river and of Ukraine conducted a study visit to Stockholm, Sweden. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize with the Swedish best practices in promoting tolerance and intercultural education. and was organized within the “Support to Confidence Building Measures”, financed by the European Union co-funded and implemented by UNDP.

STUDY VISIT – THE IDENTIFICATION OF PARTICULARITIES OF THE AUSTRIA VET ICT

181_copOn 24-30th of November, a delegation from the Republic of Moldova  was in Vienna in a study visit, which overall aim was to collect good practices of VET institutions from ICT area from Austria in order to transfer these knowledge and experience to Moldova.

The participants of study visit identified the specificity of Austrian VET system in ICT area, especially on curriculum development process, in link with labour market requirements, in service teachers training from VET institutions, on apprenticeships programs in dual companies.

DEVELOPING OF MODULAR CURRICULUM FOR VOCATIONAL-TECHNICAL EDUCATION IN ICT

170_copWithin the project “Advancing Quality in ICT Vocational Education in Moldova”,during 15-17th October was organized a training for modular curriculum developers.

In order to modernize the curriculum for ICT specialties and ensure its relevance to the needs of the labor market, the institutions involved in the project have started the development of modular curricula. A first step in achieving this goal was the training for the 18 potential curricula developers, selected on a competitive basis.
