Within the project “Promoting and developing intercultural education (EIC) in the initial training of teachers”, implemented by EC PRO DIDACTICA, with the support of the “Pestalozzi” Foundation in Switzerland, an important balance event was held, attended by representatives of the project teams from partner universities (USM, USARB and USC), MECC representative, Mrs. Doina USACI, as well as guests from other universities and high schools with pedagogical profile, including students.

The facilitators of the debates, Tatiana CARTALEANU and Olga COSOVAN, challenged the over 30 participants to reflect analytically and critically on the quantitative and qualitative results of the project, highlighting the experiences and specific contributions to the development of the intercultural competence of the university professors, but also the ICE perspectives, arising from the current challenges of each stage of schooling, from kindergarten, to university.

The beneficiaries of the project shared the immediate impact and perspective experiences of the project, acknowledged the unique and unique aspects of the training programs, which they used in the curricula and in the developed methodological guides, illustrating with relevant examples from university and school contexts. represents them.

The pedagogy of diversity, which is evolving rapidly and the differences that are increasingly evident between the cultures that interfere with the context in a surprising way, creates increasingly distinct premises for creative approach from school and university teachers and calls for advanced intercultural competences to ensure the sustainability of the project.

On the first day of the autumn vacation, around 40 teachers from both banks of the Dniester, including teachers from the Transnistrian region, met in a Training Program in the field of intercultural education, with the generic “Culture of Good Neighborhood”. Held within a long-term project, implemented by CE PRO DIDACTICA, with the support of the international network for the prevention of armed conflicts – GPPAC and facilitated by the Agreement signed with the General Directorate of Education, in the person of Mrs. Larisa BRĂTUCEAN, the activity contributed to the personal and professional development of the participants.
