The activity was attended by over 21 teachers from colleges and vocational schools, intending to draw a new tab in their career, as a trainer for adults practicing the same area of development.
Issues addressed at the seminar with training elements included the following aspects: quality indicators in education; designing curriculum for adult educational programs focusing on skills training; designing training sessions; learning and design framework; using teaching materials at the training sessions, including Power Point presentations, posters and distributing materials etc.
In the opinion of the participants, among the factors that contributed specifically to the proper progress of the seminar, were: the professionalism and the enthusiasm of trainers; good organization and good coditions were created; the atmosphere; creating problem situations and using teaching materials.
The participants have set out some topics they would like to study at other seminars, including an effective and qualitative assessment, assessment methods; motivation strategies for adults for lifelong learning; designing a training program for adults etc.
We appreciate the immediate impact observed in the attitudes and the behavior of the beneficiaries, but also their increased motivation to work as a trainer and to further improve their status and performance as a teacher, despite the many difficulties they are facing here and now in our educational context.
