During the last years, through the effort of the Ministry of Education and with the support of the donors, several relevant studies and strategic policy documents have been developed that stressed attention on major problems the education is confronted with in the Republic of Moldova related to: human resources development, deficit and fluctuation of the didactical staff, discontent payroll and poor working conditions, but also low social status of teachers.

On the 29th of January 2016 the project “Partnerships for quality and relevance of the ICT vocational education in Moldova„ was launched. The event was held at the Centre of Excellence of Computer Science and Information Technologies.
The launch event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education, the Embassy of Austria in Chisinau, the Embassy of Romania to Moldova, the Austrian Development Agency, representatives of the education institutions, GIZ, USAID, EU Delegation in Moldova, ICT companies.

In the framework of the international project „European Lessons”, a team of expert trainers have updated and completed curriculum of „European Integration for you,” recommended for use throughout the country by the Ministry of Education, which is piloting as updated version in 4 schools.
