On the 20th of December current year, at Educational Center PRO DIDACTICA, there was held a follow-up session of the training module of adult education trainers, organized by EC PRO DIDACTICA, since October to December. The participants were greeted by Rima BEZEDE, the president of the Centre and by Adela SCUTARU-GUȚU, executive director of DVV International-Moldova, who gave more details regarding the activity of DVV at an international and national level. On behalf of DVV beneficiaries in Moldova, has spoken Ina VUTCARIOV, from A.O. “Viața Noastră”, presenting the results of 2 projects for adult education in prisons.

PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION MONITORING ”CIVIC EDUCATION FOR A GOOD RELATIONSHIP ON BOTH SIDES OF NISTRU RIVER”

Piloting the optional discipline for primary school The culture of a good neighborhood will take place for the third consecutive year, throughout the Republic of Moldova, including Transnistria, and will be coordinated by EC PRO DIDACTICA. Our initiative aims to improve relations and long term peace training in the Republic of Moldova, including Transnistria and Gagauzia, by introducing this discipline about intercultural education. This year, it will be implemented with the financial support from BST (The Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation). Initiated by the civil society, this project reunites NGOs, teachers, government officials and from education to the qualitative implementation of the given discipline in around 30 schools with over 2000 children in Romanian and Russian language of instruction, consolidating tolerance and cooperation between different groups. Through the project objectives, the beneficiaries continue the process for common development, in order to learn new social skills for intercultural communication and cooperation; in order to introduce inovative methods for teaching-learning with a diverse cultural content, increasing the understanding of cultural diversity; mutual understanding and solidarity between the separated regions.

INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON NON-FORMAL EDUCATION OF ADULTS ACROSS THE GlobALE CURRICULUM

dvvOn 7-8 of November current year, I, with Adela Scutaru-Guţu, director at DVV International Moldova, have attended a workshop with a Curriculum GlobALE theme, the frame for improvement the quality of life and poverty reduction by developing adult education and lifelong learning. The activity was organized by DVV International Macedonia, in Skopje, and there were gathered representatives from more than 10 countries: Belarus, Kosovo, Croatia, Germany, Macedonia, Mexico, Moldova, Palestine, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
